Scholarship Award
AMDA funded program. Awards  range from $1000 to $10,000. Audition for first-year admission.
AMDA Grant AMDA funded program.  Awards range from $250 to $1000. Financial need.
AMDA Institutional
Assistance
AMDA-funded program.  Awards range from $250 to $1000. Financial need.
Federal Pell Grant Federally-funded grant program. Awards range $400 to $3,725 based on formula issued by U.S.
Department of Education.
Financial need etermined by filing FAFSA.  Students who do not have a Bachelor's Degree, U.S. Citizens or Permanent residents must file FAFSA form.
Federal SEOG Federally-funded grant program. Awards range from $400 to $800. Pell-eligible students only
Federal Work Study Federally-funded on campus student mployment
program.
Pell-eligible students only. Student interest. U.S. Citizens or Permanent
Residents.
On-campus Employment. AMDA funded on-campus student employment program. Student interest.
Federal Family
Educational Loan
Program
Subsidized Student Loan. Students may borrow up to $2625 in first year and up to $3500 in second
year. Repayment begins six months after separation with a variable interest rate capped at 8.25%.
Financial need.  U.S. Citizens or Permanent residents.  Must file 
FAFSA form.
Unsubsidized Loan. Students mayborrow up to $2625 in first year and
up to $3500 in second year. Variable interest rate beginning on the date
of disbursement is capped at 8.25%.
Students not eligible for subsidized loans.  U.S. Citizens or Permanent residents.  Must file 
FAFSA form.
PLUS Loan. Parents may borrow up to the cost of education less other
financial aid as determined by the AMDA Financial Aid Office. Repayment begins as soon as loan is dis
bursed with a variable interest rate beginning at the date of disbursement capped at 9%.
"Dependent" student status according to federal guidlines
as determined by the AMDA Financial Aid  Officer.  U.S. Citi-
zens or Permanent residents. Must file FAFSA form.
Additional unsubsidized loans.Independent students, and students whose parents are unable to borrow
a PLUS loan may borrow an additional $4000 in an unsubsidized student loan. Variable interest rate
beginning on the date of disbursement is capped at 8.25%.
Must file FAFSA form.
