Telling a story with the body requires ambition, dedication and artistry. It also takes training. Our rigorous Dance Theatre Conservatory Program is designed to give you the basic physical training expected in the professional world, while providing the opportunity for additional training in acting and vocal technique.

At AMDA, we believe a dancer must dance. Our culture is built around Performance Immersion, and from day one, you will find unrivaled dance performance opportunities in a variety of classical and modern styles and disciplines. In addition, through courses in career preparation and audition techniques, you’ll learn how to navigate the professional dance industry and leverage all of this training for a successful career as a working dancer.

When you finish the Dance Theatre Conservatory Program, you also have the option of applying all of your credits toward the AMDA Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Theatre.
