This program offers training to prepare the student for a career as a professional actor. The first year of training focuses upon the development of technique with special emphasis on individual work. The second year's focus is upon utilization of the acquired techniques as the student develops performance and audition pieces.

All courses in the curriculum are required. In addition to the courses
listed, a Performing Arts Practicum consisting ofobservation and
rehearsal work is required each semester. AMDA reserves the
