Career Resources

Since 1964, AMDA’s mission has been to fully educate students in all aspects of the performing arts. To realize this goal, AMDA has opened its doors to the best and the brightest performing arts professionals to train our students in acting, voice and dance.

What truly sets AMDA graduates apart is that their training goes beyond performance, immersing them in advanced courses in career preparation, industry workshops, audition techniques, arts entrepreneurship, and the ever-changing landscape of media. Taught by professionals in the entertainment industry, this specialized curriculum transforms our students into business-savvy professionals who possess the knowledge, poise and work ethic to confidently face the demands of the entertainment industry. Often, industry professionals such as working performers, talent agents, casting directors, and managers are brought in to give lectures, provide feedback, and recruit new talent.

In addition to immersion in industry-relevant coursework, students also participate in co-curricular activities that enhance their learning and facilitate the practical application of their knowledge and talents. From theatre productions to enrichment activities, students have the opportunity to showcase their talents in a variety of contexts, from performing classic works to presenting original material. AMDA also hosts career fairs featuring recruiters from businesses who understand the value of hiring alumni whose well-rounded performing arts education make them dynamic employees.

If you are a business or organization looking to hire AMDA graduates, please submit your information below. We understand that every business has specific needs and welcome the chance to provide you with the resumes of particular candidates who would be well suited to your open positions ranging from production, to casting, to administration.
