Jennifer Bloom is a veteran theatre director. She served as Resident Director at the Santa Monica Repertory Theatre, presiding over productions of A Christmas Carol, Memorandum, How I Learned to Drive, The Learned Ladies and several festivals and readings. Her regional credits include: The Tempest!, Brecht-cerpts, Untethered, Hell Money and two productions for the Los Angeles Natural History Museum in collaboration with the Jim Henson Creature Shop. Jennifer has directed productions at The Broad Stage, Trinity Repertory, Chalk Repertory, 2 Cents Theatre, The Gamm Theatre, Perishable Theatre, Theatricum Botanicum and with the Los Angeles Playwrights Union.
Jennifer teaches Acting Foundations, Scene Study, Absurdist & Non-Linear Theatre, One Acts Performance, Theatre Direction & Design, Directing, Director's Experience and directs various productions.
