Tracy Silver is an accomplished choreographer, dancer, singer and actor. She began began her career with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. After being cast in the feature film, Fast Forward, Tracy developed a multi-faceted career. She has danced for Jerome Robbins, Patricia Birch, Alan Johnson, Wayne Cilento and acted opposite Burt Reynolds, Gary Sinise, John Ham and John Glover. Tracy created the roles of the crazy ballerina, Olya, in the musical adaptation of The Thief as well as Mrs. Cohn's in the long-running Los Angeles rock musical, Dear Bernard. As writer/creator, her one woman show, Motion Cures, was chosen twice as The Best of the Fest for the Los Angeles Women's Theater Festival. Tracy continues to make AMDA her creative home where teaching the next generation is her biggest priority.
Tracy teaches Classical Ballet Foundations, Contemporary Ballet Foundations, Ballet, Dance & Movement for the Performing Artist, The Choreographer’s Experience, Dance Theatre Company, Quest for Success, directs and choreographs various productions and is involved in Artists’ Lab Finding Your Voice workshops, such as Personal Monologues.
