Brittany Ackerman is an educator and writer of fiction, non-fiction and poetry. As an educator, Brittany structures her classes as an open forum for discussion where students can develop and express individual perspectives, voices and styles. As a professional writer, Brittany has received numerous writing awards, including the Winner of Non-Fiction Book Award (The Perpetual of Motion Machine) and the Coastline Flash Fiction Contest Winner ("It is Understood"). Brittany teaches Applied Logic & Critical Thinking, Creative Writing, English Composition and Archetypal Psychology.
