Sara Amato is an aspiring novelist and
educator. Sara's scholarly interests focus on the evolution of the female
anti-hero archetype: the appeal of characters who are neither completely good
nor evil but instead characters influenced by specific moral codes and
circumstances. Sara strives to teach her students the fundamental elements of
writing and analysis. Throughout her courses, she includes relevant cultural
references alongside classic literature to encourage students to
contemplate societal expectations and changes from past to present. Sara asks
students to approach literature and writing - like they would the script or
lyric - in order to prepare for their future professional endeavors.
Sara teaches English Composition.
