Karine Newborn is a dancer, choreographer, singer, actor and instructor. She specializes in floor barre, alignment, technique and stage performance. Karine has performed in Cats (Paris, France), Aida (Broadway), the films South Pacific and Do You Want To Dance. She choreographed numerous shows and industrials in Los Angeles and was the associate choreographer on the musical Golden Boy (Long Wharf Theater). She was also the artistic director of ACT III Performing Art Center in Los Angeles and the owner of Brooklyn Dance Project in New York. Karine's teaching style is very detail oriented and she has taught for over three decades, working in all styles of dance. She is an instructor at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles and was faculty at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She has also taught workshops all over America and was part of the convention L.A. DanceForce.

Karine teaches Core Techniques: Classical Ballet Foundation, Classic Jazz Foundations, Ballet and Jazz.
