Jay Carlon is a contemporary choreographer and
performing artist. In 2016, he founded CARLON, a collaborative,
multidisciplinary dance company whose highly physical work is focused in
experimental, site-based dance theatre. Jay's work has been presented at
REDCAT, The Broad Museum, Los Angeles Dance Festival, Electric Lodge, Los
Angeles Dance Project, Los Angeles Performance Practice, 92nd Street
Y, Beach Dances, Breaking Ground, The CURRENT SESSIONS and the Annenberg
Community Beach House. Jay is a performer and directing associate with circus
spectacle theatre company, Australia's Sway Pole, where he has performed at the 2014
Olympics, the 2016 World Expp and the 2018 Super Bowl. Jay has also performed
with the Metropolitan Opera, Oguri, No) one. Art House and is a featured dancer
in art film, Metronia.
Jay teaches Core Techniques: Contemporary Foundations and Dance Theatre Company.
