Katherine Corle has performed in musical theatre, operetta, opera, and recital in New York, regionally, and in Europe. Her recent appearances include three seasons at the Ohio Light Opera, as well as performances with Light Opera of New York, Manhattan Opera Studio, and Victor Herbert Renaissance Project. Her favorite roles include Mimì in La bohème, Lisa in Countess Maritza, First Lady in Die Zauberflöte, the title role in Suor Angelica, the Fairy Godmother in Lady of the Slipper, and Ethel Toffelmier in The Music Man. In addition to her academic background in theatre, she has trained for over 16 years in vocal technique and pedagogy with master teacher Dorothy Stone. Katherine is passionate about helping her students develop their own unique voices and find artistic fulfillment through a solid foundation in functional vocal technique. She maintains a private studio in Stamford, CT.
