AMDA Faculty since: 2018

Cristina Duarte is an actor, director, teacher and former artistic director. She has appeared in several independent and commercial films as well as television with reoccurring roles on Law and Order, One Life to Live, All My Children and a nine year run on Saturday Night Live as supporting cast.

She has directed numerous productions for the Santa Fe Playhouse, Hunter's Loewe's Theatre and The Greer Garson Theatre Company, including the premier ofJon Jory's Christmas Spectacular!

She taught acting at Stella Adler Studio, Hunter College, and was Lead Faculty at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at Brooklyn College. In May of 2018, she was awarded The Singer Family Prize for Excellence in Teaching by the University of Rochester.
