Kevin Williamson is a movement artist, Lester Horton Award recipient, Bates Educators Fellow, and Center Theatre Group Sherwood Award Finalist. Williamson's dance works have been presented at DanspaceProject, REDCAT's New Original Works Festival, Dixon Place, CounterPulse, LACMA, Austin's OUTsider Festival, Minnesota Fringe, Diversionary Theater SD, and the Beijing Dance Festival. Williamson has created original works for LA Contemporary Dance Company, CSU Long Beach and Loyola Marymount University. He has also choreographed opera/theatre projects for The Juilliard School, Yale Repertory Theater, Opera UCLA, Atlantic Theatre Company, Washington National Opera, and Geffen Playhouse.
As a performer the past two decades, Williamson has been a soloist and company member of David Rousseve/REALITY, Maria Gillespie's Oni Dance, LA Contemporary Dance Company, Robert Moses' Kin and collaborated in special projects for Vic Marks, Cheng-Chieh Yu, David Gordon, Heidi Duckler and more. Kevin is a certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst and 200+ Hour Yoga Maze Method certificate holder and is ISMETA and Yoga Alliance registered.
