Improvisation +
Develop basic improvisational skills that focus on facing performance anxiety, expanding creativity, listening on stage, and supporting fellow performers.

Audition Techniques for Stage & Film +
Learn how to be successful in auditions through preparation, presentation, professionalism, and communication through the use and break down of sides and monologues.

Movement for the Actor +
Explore the development of professional attitudes, physical awareness, flexibility, and precision related to movement for the stage. Emphasis is placed on spatial relationships, posture, rhythmic accuracy, energy, and the ability to respond to direction.

Character Analysis for the Scripted Text +
As a compliment to industry-related preparation, be challenged to seek roles which best present and position you for future audition opportunities. Emphasis is placed on the skillful use of advanced acting techniques, such as verbal and physical scoring, moment before, beat analysis, action and reaction, and the integration of private moment.

Dive into the foundational elements of performance through exploration of different styles of acting.

Get acquainted with the expectations of a professional artist within the rehearsal and performance processes. The course includes industry professional guests that will provide further insight into the various aspects of the production experience.

Become empowered as an artist through abundant resources for entering the professional entertainment workforce. Be well-versed in financial planning, networking, and creating an effective resume & headshot.

Work on building your own personal confidence and skills in order to help you communicate well with other professionals in the industry and succeed in necessary business ventures in the performing arts.
