AMDA Faculty Jim Elliott Podcasts “The State of Shakespeare”

January 06, 2012 - Announcements, Faculty

AMDA's own Jim Elliott has created a new podcast for actors that will feature some of today’s most inspiring artists sharing their own secrets of the craft in an instructive interview series called The State of Shakespeare.

The State of Shakespeare gives theatre artists, students, and educators access to the current methods and practices employed by the professionals who help bring Shakespeare’s plays to life. With a new episode appearing each month, The State of Shakespeare podcast is up-to-date with the latest developments in Shakespeare performance, scholarship and news. Recent guests’ latest credits are critically-acclaimed productions of Cymbeline at The Barrow Street Theatre and King Lear at the Public Theater in New York City.

Visit the website for information about all things Shakespeare - from scanned versions of featured texts to links to the latest in Shakespeare - The State of Shakespeare is the ultimate source for Bard-Oologists.
