Celebrated annually on April 22, Earth Day is a worldwide event that brings awareness to environmental issues with political action and civic participation. Earth Day 2018 will focus on the use and disposal of plastics. In recognition of the day, the library invites you to search the online catalog for terms such as conservation, earth, ecology, environment, and global warming.

Read the plays Dumping Ground by Elizabeth Diggs and Amazônia by Colin Teevan and Paul Heritage. Study the shooting script for Erin Brockovich and view the film starring Julia Roberts. Watch An Inconvenient Truth, a documentary featuring former Vice President Al Gore. Also enjoy the CD and vocal selections for the musical The Toxic Avenger.
