The Office of Student Affairs is committed to creating an integrated learning experience that supports students in reaching their educational, professional and personal goals. We help create a campus community where students are prepared to contribute to a dynamic and changing world.

    To do this we:
    • Challenge students to create a diverse community of mutual respect through social interaction and cultural exploration
    • Provide leadership and support for AMDA-wide student affairs programs
    • Support students in their intellectual, cultural, physical, emotional and social development
    • Motivate students to contribute as leaders and professionals through student leadership and experiential learning opportunities
    • Create local (and world-wide) academic, professional and personal connections

AMDA coordinates housing assignments through our online Housing Portal, StarRez! With StarRez, all steps to secure housing at AMDA is completely online. Incoming students receive access to their AMDA email 60-days before their starting term, which then gives access to StarRez. Please keep an eye out for emails from the Office of Housing detailing when these applications are available.

For any questions regarding housing tuition, payment methods, and housing costs, please contact your Admissions Advisor or visit the Admissions page on our website HERE.

Any student who requires a specific housing accommodation due to a documented disability or medical condition can reach out to our Accessibilities Department by emailing NYAccessibility@amda.edu. Feel free to review our Accessibilities Page for more information on this.
