program descriptionOur intensive four-year degree program is designed to give you everything you need to pursue your calling as a professional actor. With comprehensive artistic training in performance for stage, film and television, you’ll master the craft.At AMDA, we believe an actor must act. Our culture is built around Performance Immersion, and from day one, you'll find unrivaled performance opportunities both in and out of the classroom. Over the course of your four years, you’ll also enhance and refine your performance technique through an intensive curriculum that focuses on both foundational and advanced acting concepts. Through Critical Studies courses designed to be immediately relevant to the working actor, you'll gain a well-rounded education in the arts. Finally, upper-level courses that focus on career preparation, networking, audition techniques and entrepreneurship will help you navigate the industry and apply all of this training as a working actor.
