AMDA is coming to New Orleans - exact audition location will be posted soon and you will be notified.
Event begins at 8:30 AM.
Below is the general timeline for this event.
Students and guests are free to leave when their audition is complete.
IMPORTANT AUDITION INFORMATION
Immerse yourself in the AMDA experience. AMDA's Audition is an exclusive opportunity for high school students (grades 11 & 12) and post high school students, to work directly with one of AMDA's distinguished faculty, staff members or industry-working alumni.
This exciting event incorporates a socially-distanced and safe audition opportunity for entry to AMDA's college level BFA and AOS or Certificate programs. To ensure your safety and the safety of others, please try to limit the number of accompanying family/guests to only 1 person.
The week of your audition, our AMDA team will contact you to conduct your student interview, provide an overview of the audition day process, and answer any questions you may have. A Covid-19 symptom questionnaire will be sent to you via email and we ask that you complete the questionnaire within 48 hours before your audition. Please review the Admissions Requirements and submit your application (and any supporting documents) before your audition day.
On your audition day, you will be given information about admissions, financial aid, and audition protocol. All applicants will receive individual feedback from an AMDA Audition Coach with suggestions for continued growth and development. Once your audition is complete, you will be free to leave. Your audition and complete application file will be evaluated for review in the following weeks, and an admissions decision will be made.
Take advantage of this incredible opportunity. We look forward to meeting you!
