BFA & AOS Degree Programs

Designed to transform talented individuals into well-rounded artists, the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Degree Programs combine a comprehensive college education with rigorous conservatory-level artistic training. The Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) Degree Programs offer performers with the essential skills necessary to launch a career in the performing arts while attaining a post-secondary degree. Both the BFA and AOS Degree Programs are offered at AMDA Los Angeles.

Professional Conservatory Certificate Programs

The Professional Conservatory Certificate Programs focus on intensive, practical instruction that provide a solid foundation for a successful career in the performing arts. All Certificate Programs are offered through AMDA New York.

Additional Options

For students considering non-traditional paths toward earning their Conservatory certificate or BFA degree, AMDA offers dual campus enrollment and BFA transfer credit options from other institutions.

Dual Campus Enrollment

AMDA's BFA and AOS or Certificate programs offer students the opportunity to study in New York and Los Angeles during their enrollment. Additional details can be found on the BFA Brochure or from the Admissions Office.

BFA Transfer Credit

For students who began their education at other institutions, AMDA offers the opportunity to transfer credits into any BFA Degree Program. Students may submit up to 30 General Education credits for consideration.
