Nancy Dobbs Owen is a dance educator and
director/choreographer for theatre, film, video and commercials. She began her ballet career with the Joffrey Ballet, went on to dance
with several regional ballet and modern companies and joined the National
Tour of The Phantom of the Opera. Television credits include Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, VEEP, Deadwood (2019 movie), American Princess and Ratched. She danced in John Adams' Nixon in
China with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Choreography credits include The
Production Company, Theatre of Note, Sight Unseen Theater, Sacred Fools, The
Hudson, Fierce Backbone, 2 Cents Theater Company, The Vagrancy, SkyPilot. She is the resident choreographer for the Marina
Del Rey Symphony. Film choreography credits include the feature film Hollywood Fringe, numerous dance films and music videos. Bodies: Place For Us, a music video bringing awareness
and action to the fight for gun control, launched in September of 2018, playing over 30 festivals and garnering numerous awards.
