Audition Plus

Immerse yourself in the AMDA experience. AMDA's Audition Plus Events are an exclusive opportunity for high school students (grades 11 & 12) and post high school students to work directly with one of AMDA's distinguished industry-working faculty or alumni. The workshop is for all skill levels and performing arts disciplines.

Workshop participants will be led through exercises and techniques designed to empower emerging performers with the confidence needed for a successful audition. Parents and families are invited to observe the workshop portion of the event as well. To ensure your safety and the safety of others, please follow local COVID-19 guidelines regarding masking.

The week of your audition, our AMDA team will contact you to conduct your student interview, provide an overview of the audition day process, and answer any questions you may have. Please review the Admissions Requirements and submit your application (and any supporting documents) before your audition day.

On your audition day, prior to the workshop, our AMDA admissions team will provide an overview of life at AMDA; including detailed information about our programs, campuses, performance opportunities, financial aid support, and audition protocol. Auditions will be held immediately following the workshop. All applicants will receive individual feedback from an AMDA Audition Coach with suggestions for continued growth and development. Once your audition is complete, you will be free to leave. Your audition and complete application file will be evaluated for review in the following weeks, and an admissions decision will be made.

Take advantage of this incredible opportunity. We can’t wait to meet you!
