GENERAL ACCESS INFORMATION
AMDA’s New York campus is now open to vaccinated alumni for individual rehearsal use and library access. To
utilize alumni benefits on campus, alumni must present a valid AMDA ID to the security team upon entry. Alumni
who do not possess an AMDA ID can submit an Alumni ID Request form in advance.
PLEASE NOTE: All alumni must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to gain access to
AMDA’s New York campus. AMDA will accept COVID-19 vaccinations that are approved by the U.S Food and Drug
Administration and the World Health Organization. To be cleared for access to AMDA’s New York campus, alumni
must submit their vaccination records through the Alumni
Vaccination Form.
RESERVING A REHEARSAL OR VOICE STUDIO
Rehearsal and Voice Studios are designed to offer support, when available, for audition preparations or
independent practice/rehearsal. They are not designed for group projects or outside productions. Use of AMDA
Rehearsal and Voice Studios is a privilege that extends only to AMDA alumni. NON-AMDA affiliated participants
cannot be approved for campus access.
Only alumni who have submitted their COVID-19 vaccination records and have received a confirmation of clearance
are eligible for campus access. Cleared alumni should reserve Rehearsal and Voice Studios through the AMDA Student Portal before visiting campus. Studios are available on a
first-come, first-served basis. Priority is always given to current students and faculty.
Alumni should make every effort to reserve Rehearsal and Voice Studios prior to coming to campus through the
Student Portal. Studio reservations can only be made up to 1 day prior to your visit and are limited to 2 hours
total per day - 1 hour in a Rehearsal Studio + 1 hour in a Voice Studio. You will not be able to book a room if
the duration is longer than 1 hour.

AMDA New York business hours are subject to change. Hours may vary due to performances, events and rehearsals.
Campus access is not available during school breaks or holidays.

ACCOMPANIST/TAPING SESSION
Accompanist/Taping Sessions are scheduled with accompanists outside of Rehearsal and Voice Studio reservations.
Sessions are ten (10) minutes long and can be scheduled through SignUpGenius.
Communicating with AMDA Faculty or Staff
AMDA alumni should communicate with Alumni Services to pre-arrange a meeting with a faculty or staff member by
emailing alumniservices@amda.edu. Alumni Services will forward
notes, e-mails, telephone messages, etc. to the respective faculty/staff.
AMDA College of the Performing Arts, LA

In-person taping sessions at the Los Angeles campus are not available at this time. For virtual taping sessions,

PARKING
Due to limited space, on-campus parking can only be reserved for current students, faculty and staff. Visiting
alumni will be required to find off-campus parking during weekday daytime visits. Metered spaces can be found
directly on Yucca Street; be sure to monitor the time carefully. On-campus parking may be offered to alumni on a
first-come, first-served basis when it is available during evening or weekend visits.
