Amanda Weier is an award-winning writer, director, actor and production manager. Credits include: writer and actor on the long-running weekly sketch show Second City This Week (the Second City Hollywood); acting in Stage Door (Open Fist Theatre Company) (L.A. Weekly best actress nominee) and Room Service (Open Fist Theatre Company) (L.A. Weekly best actress nominee). Other credits include performing in The Gary Plays (Open Fist Theatre Company and Padua Playwrights); assistant directing the world premiere of Frank Zappa's Joe's Garage (Open Fist Theatre Company); directing the West Coast premiere of Autobahn (Open Fist Theatre Company); directing The :NV:S:BLE Play (Theatre of Note); acting in "Scare Tactics" and Alien Abduction. Writing credits include Stray (Slamdance and Skyline awards), Bethlehem and Goosestepping With Bound Feet.
