AMDA Faculty since: 1989

Elaine is the Chair of A.M.D.A NY Musical Theater Department and an accomplished actor, singer and director. She has dedicated over twenty years to the development and excellence of curriculum, faculty and teaching methods that has produced artists who are working professionals in the United States and all over the world. Her Broadway acting credits include Grease, The Me Nobody Knows, Ride The Winds, and The End of The World (directed by Harold Prince). Off-Broadway: Roundabout Theater, Manhattan Theater Club, West Side Arts Center, numerous tours, stock, industrials, commercials. Directed at The Skylight Opera, New York University, and taught and choreographed for The Berkshire Theater Festival. Elaine has taught Master classes in Canada, Brazil and Israel.
