Tami Petty also teaches on the faculty of William Paterson University, serves as Director of Music at Middle Church, and serves as Shabbat musician at Central Synagogue. Winner of the 2014 Joy in Singing Prize, her career highlight to date has been singing the song, "Steal Away" with brother, tenor Billy Petty, in A CHILD OF OUR TIME (Michael Tippett) with mutual friend Dan Perkins conducting Manchester Choral Society. A close second was singing music from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" with Ennio Morricone at Radio City Music Hall. Having worked with respected artists in the fields of classical and Broadway music, she counts herself fortunate to be able to help emerging artists achieve their dreams. Additional prizes have been awarded from Sorel Foundation, American Prize, Richard Tucker Foundation, Lotte Lehmann Foundation, Chautauqua Opera Guild, Lotte Lenya Competition, and Merola Opera Program. www.TamiPetty.com
