John Murphy is an award-winning independent filmmaker, writer, producer and podcast host. His films have been showcased in festivals around the world. His credits include the short films "Coasters: A Film by Ben Kurns" (Best Parody, Top Shorts 2020; Platinum Award for Best Parody, Independent Short Awards), "Before" and "Whatever We Want"; the sketch comedy series "Look Ma, No Helmet!"; podcasts "Obscurities of the Silver Screen" and "Film Survey"; and the feature film Garthwaite.
