AMDA Stands in Support of Members of the Asian Community

Dear AMDA Community,

We are outraged at the recent senseless attacks on members of the Asian Community.  As a community of diverse creative artists, we understand the responsibility we all share in speaking out against all forms of violence and injustice when they occur. We acknowledge that is our diversity and our individuality that makes us who we are as people and as artists.

We all stand in solidarity with the members of the Asian Community who live, work, and create on our AMDA campuses every day and in the performing arts industry.

Let us continue to stand together as a community in support of each other and in furtherance of our mission to promote equity, inclusivity, diversity, and justice.  

We understand that the recent tragic incidents may have an effect on us as human beings. We want you to know that you have support here in your AMDA Community.
