Entertainment Weekly Features Nina Arianda

AMDA alum Nina Arianda, currently nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of “Billie Dawn” in Born Yesterday, is highlighted in Entertainment Weekly magazine's "Best of Summer Stage" with a photo and blurb exclaiming, “the Broadway newbie, 26, gives a stinging (and painfully funny) performance as a bombshell who learns to ‘talk good’ for her millionaire boyfriend (James Belushi)—only to discover he’s a crook.” Arianda’s performance won her an Outer Critics Circle Award for "Outstanding Actress in a Play" and she was also nominated for a Drama League and Drama Desk Award. Born Yesterday is currently running on Broadway at the Cort Theater.

In addition, Entertainment Weekly listed War Horse (Tony nominee for Best Play), with AMDA's own Hannah Sloat, as one of the “5 New Must-See Shows.” With 5 Tony nominations, War Horse is now playing at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in New York’s Lincoln Center.
